When I make art I am completely free and at peace.
Having an “outcome” doesn’t even enter the picture and all I know is that I have an intention to “make something”. When that process is finished I get to see what that “make something” is.

I am fortunate to experience this energy . As I look into subtle shapes, colors and symbols I realize that this is a reflection of a moment in time. Its like writing a dream down on paper right after we wake up from having it- we didn’t make that dream happen but there is something that is relevant enough to make us want to remember.

Different things happen when I work with different mediums.
With acrylic and oil I experience the importance of time. When I use gouache – its like a dependable friend- always there-always ready and always open to change.
Collage is my sculpture.

I have been making art since the 80’s and by showing people my work I have come out of my secret artist closet. This has opened up  a dialogue where I connect to others at what I consider to be my purest state. There is no judgement, no worry, no insecurity or agenda. There is only connection. The Beatles sang- “they say you want a revolution” and this is my small part.
